THOMAS L. SNYDER, 79, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2006 in the Valley Hospice Pallative Care Unit, Steubenville, OH following a brief illness. He was a retired mechanic from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and a US Army veteran of WWII having served in Germany. Tom was a member of the Harrison Hills United Pentacostal Church, Jewett. He was born in Tiltonsville, OH, August 7, 1927, a son of the late William Delbert and Eleanor (Henderson) Snyder. He is also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Bill, Joe, Ed and David Snyder. He is survived by his wife, June (Brake) Snyder whom he married March 19, 1949; by a son, Thomas L. (Susie) Snyder, II of Richmond, 2 daughters, Diane Lynn (Robert) Yanok, Adena and Theresa Sue (Rev. Michael) Friend, St. Paul, MN; a sister, Louise Tucker, Olmstead Falls Oh; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday with Pastors Hugh Rose, Michael Friend (son-in-law) and Robert Yanok (grandson) officiating.
