Twyla D. Childers, 81, of Richmond , Ohio passed away August 31, 2012 at Valley Hospice Care Center North.

She was born December 28, 1930 in Smithburg , WV , a daughter of the late Lester and Conda (Ware) Sutton.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Childers, Sr.; three infant children; brothers, Lowell and Joe Sutton; and sister, Euleta Connelly.

Twyla was Methodist by faith.

She is survived by her son, Charles Childers, Jr. of Reno, NV; daughter, Regina (Paul) Brokaw of Richmond; brothers, Bill and Butch Sutton; sister, Shirley Lipscomb; five grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St. , Richmond on Tuesday September 4, 2012 from 11 AM until time of funeral services at 1:00 PM with Pastor David Massimi and Tom Snodgrass officiating.

Burial will follow at Richmond Union Cemetery .
