Velma F. Booth 78, of Amsterdam, Ohio passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville. She was born May 20, 1938 in Carroll County, Ohio a daughter of the late Wilbur and Mabel Howell Snively. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Richard Booth; two sisters, Betty Louise Cross and Matilda Snively; two brothers, Bob and Wilbur Snively.
Velma is survived by her husband of 61 years James Booth; four sons, James (Beverly) Booth of Hammondsville, OH, Don (Sandy) Booth, John ( Bonnie) Booth and Joseph Booth all of Amsterdam, OH; a daughter, Kathy Booth and her fiancé, Larry Strosnider of Empire; 15 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
