Velma DiLoreti, 84 of Mingo Jct., Ohio passed away Friday, February 19, 2010 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Mingo. Velma was born April 6, 1925 in Holidays Cove, WV, a daughter of the Harry Lawrence and Edith Poe Virtue. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Romolo DiLoreti and a son James DiLoreti. Velma is survived by her daughter Vickie (Brian) Morrison of Beaver, PA; two sons Gary (Bonnie) DiLoreti and Robin DiLoreti of Denver, CO; four grandchildren, Jason (Jill), Tara, Isis, and Marco; one great-grandchild, Stella. Special thanks to Trinity skilled care nurses and nurses aids and also her wonderful friends Tina Knowlton, Jessie Bove, Jerry Minor, Byron Messor, and Tracy Hennen. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 12 Noon at Oakland cemetery in Mingo Jct., with Rev. Father James M. Dunfee.
