Velva A. (Applegarth) Buckmaster, 85, of Steubenville, OH, passed away December 3, 2020.

She was born August 2, 1935 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Richard E. and Velma M. (Wheaton) Applegarth.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Jill R. Buckmaster; sisters Nora and Dixie; and brothers, Bruce and Richard, Jr.

Velva is survived by her sons, Mark and David Buckmaster; daughters, Joy (Ralph) Grimm and Jackie (Mark Henry) Buckmaster; brother, Ron (Patti) Applegarth; and sister, Judy Dugan; grandchildren, Mandi (Mike Schultz) Semple, David "Buck" Buckmaster, Jessica (Tommy) Reeder, Sean Collin, Jack Dalton, Jon Thoren, Vohn Kasen and Craig Tristin Arnold; a great grandchild, Cameron.
