Verna E. Saltsman, 94, of Cadiz, Ohio passed away February 15, 2025. She graduated from Jewett High School in 1953, had a variety of jobs and had a love and passion for raising birds, especially her African Grey "Willie". Her ever present smile will be missed. She was born November 8, 1930 to the late John and Mabel Murray. in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank "Hank" Saltsman, brother, Frank (Ruth) Murray, sisters Betty (Johnson) Hughes and Lily (Jack) Devore.

She is survived by brothers, Edward (Lydia) Murray and John (Shirley) Murray and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 10 AM until 12 Noon. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Clint Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland cemetery, Salineville, Ohio.
