Walter "Sonny" Wood 70 of Mechanicstown, Ohio passed away on January 19, 2022, at Aultman Hospital. He was born December 24, 1951. A son of the late Dalton and Kathryn (Grimm) Wood. In addition to his parents he was preceded by three brothers, Richard, Dale, and Burt. He worked at Summitville Tile for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife Amanda Wood; children, Lori (Adam) Danley, Chris (Jake) Davis, Patricia Wood, Dakota Wood and Shawn Wood; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; step-children, Alaina, Kiara, Will, Sabrina, Ragan, and Xena; Greg (Patti) Wood, Dalton (Tracy) Wood, Jr, Brenda (Steve) Young, Fay (Albert) Fray.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz, Ohio on Monday from 5-7 PM.
