On February 25, 2022, after a brief illness, our beloved Mother and Grandmother Wanda Lowery Firm, age 94, went home to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Wanda was born February 5, 1928 to her biological mother the late Alice Lowery McFeely, and was raised as the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha Trimmer Lowery. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas N. Firm, grandson Aaron Boyd, brothers Tom Lowery, Jack(John) McFeeley, Bob (Robert) Lowery, sisters Doris Barnhouse and Donna Byrum and her uncle Earl Trimmer. She was a member of East Springfield United Methodist Church of the Cross. She is survived by her devoted children and family: Son Thomas ( Diana) Firm, daughters Becky (Fred) Jones and Janna (Danny) Boyd. Grandchildren; Freddy (Betsy) Jones V, Joel (Breanne) Boyd, Elisha( Carolina Ley) Boyd and Kayla (Chris) Firm Loren. Great Grandchildren Freddy Jones VI, Catey Boyd, and Danny (Aaron) Boyd and his parents Sam and Brandie Cielakie and his brothers Mason and Jake. Nephews Jim and Tom Lowery and David MCFeely; Donald, Edward, and Todd Firm; and John and Christopher Byrum. Nieces Sharon Barnhouse Crawford, Jennifer McFeeley Sweeney, JoLynn Lowery Fisher, Patricia Byrum Harvey, Sandy (Billy) Firm Reynolds, Cathie Firm Hart and Lisa Firm; as well as many other great and great-great nieces and nephews and her wonderful friends at Pescara Lake in Bradenton FL where she happily resided the past four years. Wanda had a true faithful belief in the Lord and showed his loving kindness to everyone she met. Her cooking and baking comforted and feed hundreds and will be remembered by all who knew her. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She passed on a legacy of love and faithfulness to her family. Friends will be received Friday from 4-8pm at Everhart-Bove Funeral Home 685 Canton Road, Wintersville OH, funeral services there Saturday 11 am Pastor Tom Snodgrass officiating. Burial will follow at Union cemetery, Steubenville.
