Crouso, Warren T. 71, of (Pleasant Hill) Steubenville, OH, died Friday, February 14, 2014 at Valley Hospice, Trinity East. He was born on November 6, 1942, in Steubenville, OH, son of the late Warren B. Crouso and Mildred (Androsky) Crouso.
Warren was active in the Boy Scouts of America most of his life. He spent many of his vacations at the Boy Scout Camp teaching and helping many boys in their pursuit of Scouting. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Department as an EMT and fireman, and active in the restoration of the Pleasant Hill School House. He spent four years in the Navy on the destroyer USS Brush during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Weirton VFW. He was also a referee for the OVAC in football.
Surviving are his sisters Diane (Robert) Smith and Loretta (Richard) Colflesh, nephews John Wallace and Matthew (Jessica) Colflesh, nieces Rebekah (Robert) Brock and Tonya (Tom) Croston, and a great-nephew David Babenko and great-nieces Cierra Neidermeyer and Tegan Colflesh.
A Memorial Service will be April 12th , time and place will be published at a later date.
