Obituary

WAYNE C. CRANSTON, 59, of Steubenville, OH, husband of Carolyn, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2005 in his home following a 10 month illness. He was a diesel mechanic at Chrome Deposit in Weirton and a Methodist. His greatest joy in life was playing with his grandchildren and following NASCAR competition. He was born May 28, 1946 in East Liverpool, OH, a son of the late Edward and Florence (Haught) Cranston. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Warren and an infant sister, Arleen. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carolyn (Brockway) Cranston, 6 sons: Edward, East Liverpool, Randy, Robbie and David, all of Florida, Larry of Martins Ferry and Kenny of Wintersville, 8 grandchildren, Robbie, Jeremy and Katie, of Richmond, Naomi of Steubenville, Kenny Jr., and Haylee of Wintersville, Eric of East Liverpool and Brandon of Florida, and 4 siblings, Gerald of Wyndham, OH, Floyd (Eleanor), Janice (John) Trainer and Gladys (Bill) Stoddard, all of East Liverpool. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., from 4 until 9 PM Tuesday where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, November 23, 2005 with Pastor Chris Current officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Steuben Burial Estates. Memorial contributions may be made to the Valley Hospice, 380 Summit Ave, Steubenville, OH 43952.
