WAYNE C. CRANSTON, 59, of Steubenville, OH, husband of Carolyn, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2005 in his home following a 10 month illness. He was a diesel mechanic at Chrome Deposit in Weirton and a Methodist. His greatest joy in life was playing with his grandchildren and following NASCAR competition. He was born May 28, 1946 in East Liverpool, OH, a son of the late Edward and Florence (Haught) Cranston. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Warren and an infant sister, Arleen. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carolyn (Brockway) Cranston, 6 sons: Edward, East Liverpool, Randy, Robbie and David, all of Florida, Larry of Martins Ferry and Kenny of Wintersville, 8 grandchildren, Robbie, Jeremy and Katie, of Richmond, Naomi of Steubenville, Kenny Jr., and Haylee of Wintersville, Eric of East Liverpool and Brandon of Florida, and 4 siblings, Gerald of Wyndham, OH, Floyd (Eleanor), Janice (John) Trainer and Gladys (Bill) Stoddard, all of East Liverpool. Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., from 4 until 9 PM Tuesday where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, November 23, 2005 with Pastor Chris Current officiating.
