William Leroy Hollaway, 91, of Hopedale, OH, passed away June 28, 2015 at Valley Hospice Care Center North, Steubenville.

He was born January 14, 1924 in Eldersville, PA, a son of the late William Thomas and Moynell (Fehl) Hollaway.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Grace Virginia Mowry Hollaway and 10 siblings.

William served his country in the United States Army during WWII.

He was Methodist by faith. William retired from Weirton Steel.

He is survived by his children, Pamela Lynn Elkins of Colorado, William Michael (Karen) Hollaway, Sr. of Cadiz, Deborah Louise Hollaway of Steubenville, Dawn Ellen (Eric) Lyon of Bloomingdale, and Mark Douglas Hollaway of Weirton; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 5 sisters.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 1 PM until time of the memorial service at 2 PM with the Reverend Tommy Mills officiating.
