William "Butch" Shrieve, 69 of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at UPMC, Pittsburgh, PA.
William was born February 8, 1940 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Arthur Eugene and Mary Maxine Lyons Shrieve. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a great-grandchild.
William was retired from Weirton Steel where he was crew chief foreman in the tin mill. He was a member of the Steubenville Saddle Club, Weirton Steelworkers Union and attended Bell Chapel Methodist Church. He was an avid farmer and had a fond passion for horses.
William is survived by his loving wife Nancy Binkiewicz Shrieve, whom he married on September 22, 1976; a son William T. (Sophie) Shrieve of Bloomingdale; five daughters, Brenda (Curt) Clifton and Valerie (Muc) McCleery both of Richmond, Luci (Clint) Trushel of Wintersville, Elizabeth McClurg and Jennifer Shrieve both of Bloomingdale; three brothers, Edward "Sonny" (Ruth) Shrieve of North Carolina, Jim (Sandy) Shrieve of Bloomingdale, Walter (Irene) Shrieve of Columbus, OH, nine grandchildren.
