Obituary

Ret. Lieutenant Colonel William "Bill" Warnock, 94 of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at his home. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force also serving during WWII. He graduated with a Master's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh and was an educator working for West Liberty University and Jefferson Technical College. Bill loved traveling with his wife, Barbara and was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church, Steubenville.

Bill was born September 18, 1923 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Robert and Wilma (Hartwig) Warnock. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Elston) Warnock; two daughters, Janet Gibney and Tricia Deveries; step-daughter, Carol Walters; brother, David (Tessie) Warnock; brother-in-law, Gwilym (Pearl) Elston; grandson, Liam Gibney; and step-grandchildren, John Walters, Janet Lawrence, and Joyce Nichols. A Memorial Service will be held at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2 PM with Pastor John Kotsanos officiating.
