Wilma C Elliott, 99, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Tuesday July 30, 2013.  She was born August 19, 1913 in Mooretown, Ohio a daughter of the late J Wilbert Crabs and Verne Crabs.

Wilma is preceded in death by her husband John H (Jack) Elliott, a son John R Elliott and a brother Dr Carl Crabbs.

Wilma grew up in Mooretown, Ohio and graduated from Bergholz High School in 1930.  She lived in Jefferson County all 99 years of her life.  In Mooretown she helped her husband Jack operate the Centertown Coal Company.  She also operated the custard stand in Bergholz and later retired from Mr Wiggs Department store in Wintersville, Ohio.  Wilma was blessed to be on this earth for almost 100 years.  She loved cooking and her bulldogs, Lulu, Rocky and Daisy.

Surviving is her daughter Jo Ann (Bert) McClain of Wintersville, Ohio.  Also surviving are five grandchildren:  Shelley (Jay) Zatta of Wintersville, with whom she resided, Pam Klumb of Canton, Ohio, Debbie (Jim) Gatts of Delroy, Ohio, Theresa (Marc) Roberson of Winchester, Virginia, and  Mike Elliott of Delroy, Ohio;  five great grandchildren:  Logan Roberson, Brandi Gatts, Aimee Lehman, Jay Gatts, and Caleb Roberson;  two great great grandchildren , Jackson Gatts and Charlotte Lehman and daughter in law Marlene Elliott.

Friends may call at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home , 685 Canton Rd. Wintersville, Ohio on Thursday August 1, 2013 from 5-8 pm where funeral services will be held Friday August 2, 2013 at 11:00 am with Pastor Marc Roberson officiating.  Burial will be at Mooretown Cemetery.
