Obituary
Winona Lou Hastwell, 88, of Wintersville, OH, passed away February 3, 2017 at her home.
She was born December 7, 1928 in Martins Ferry, OH, the daughter of the late John Charles and Clara (House) Tierney.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Jack Tierney.
She enjoyed camping, bowling, and reading. Winona loved going to Primetime and traveling to Florida,
Winona is survived by her husband, Richard Hastwell; children, Donna (Bob) VanDine of Panama City, FL, Diana Johnston of Wintersville, OH, Gary Hastwell of Wintersville, OH, and David (Lori) Hastwell of Wintersville, OH; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Tierney of Martins Ferry, OH; grandchildren, Stacey (Craig) Smith, Todd (Stephanie) VanDine, Michael Johnston, Erin Hastwell, Annette (Todd) Tompkins, and Alan (Katelynn)Hastwell; 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Tuesday from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 1 PM with Deacon Thomas Graham officiating.
Entombment will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville.
Following services at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates a dinner will be provided at Meridian Green Complex.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH 43943.
