Woodrow W. Taylor, 88 of Richmond, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 02, 2010 at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville.


Woodrow was born December 18, 1921 in Bannock, Ohio, a son of the late Earl Wayne and Daisy Leizure Taylor. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Cecilia Kosikowski Taylor, a son David Taylor and several brothers and sisters.


He was a Veteran of the US Army serving during World War II and was retired from Weirton Steel.

Woodrow is survived by his son Richard (Nancy) Taylor of Toronto, OH; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Taylor of Richmond, OH; sister Betty Taylor of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren, Tina Taylor of Hilliard, OH and Jennifer (Mike) Plumley of Galloway, OH; great-grandchildren, Teige and Audrey Plumley; niece Marylou (Henry) Kosikowski of Mingo Jct., OH.


Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services Monday 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Kurt Denny officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates with full military honors.
