Albert Brehm

On the morning of January 20, 2023, Albert Brehm of Richmond, Ohio died at the age of 70. Albert was born to Ted and Dorothy Brehm in January 18, 1953. For most of his life he owned and operated his own construction business, completing many residential and commercial projects in the Ohio Valley. On September 29, 1978 he married Paula Sapp, and together raised two children.

Albert was a wonderful woodworker and loved to spend time in his shop building birdhouses, cutting boards, wine racks and live-edge tables. Other hobbies included boating, fishing, golfing and maintaining the lawn and woodland around the house he and Paula built. He was a friend, mentor, coach and community member known for his honesty, frankness and sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father and brother, Teddy. Albert is survived by his wife Paula, children Hannah (Matthias) Brehm-Sundberg and Abbie Brehm, sisters Terri (John) Stokley and Barbara (Gene) Mann, brother Tommy Brehm. And will be sadly missed by brother-in-law, Tom (Karen) Sapp, sisters-in-law, Earlene (John) McGonegal, Carolyn Sapp, Jodi Sapp and Jeannie (Joe) Fiori, also many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 3PM until time of memorial service at 5 PM. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his honor to the Arbor Day Foundation.
