Arlene Serdar

Arlene (Wolf) Serdar, 85, of Richmond, Ohio passed away Monday, August 29, 2022, at Wyngate Senior Living Center in Weirton, WV.  She was born on March 25, 1937, in Canton, OH to the late Willard Wolf and Nellie Wolf and raised in Scio, OH.

Arlene worked at Ohio Valley Hospital, then St. John Medical Center and finally retired from Trinity West in 2003. 

She enjoyed garage sale-ing early Saturday mornings when the weather turned nice and taking road trips with friends and family.  She was always up for a ride.  She loved to read and watch TV Land.  I’m sure she could recite most episodes of Gunsmoke and Andy Griffith.

In addition to her parents, Arlene is preceded in death by her husband Matt, sister Doris Sniegocki and son Mark Serdar.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda of Richmond, OH; grandsons, Michael Serdar of NC and Charles Bullins of New Philadelphia, OH; 2 great grandsons, sisters Carla Hively of Carrollton and Marsha Cutlip of Lore City, OH; and her brother Chuck Wolf of Barnesville, OH.

There will be no visitation per Arlene’s wishes.

Memorial Contributions in Arlene’s memory may be made out to the Jefferson County Humane Society, 200 Airport Access Rd, Wintersville, OH.
