Barbara Whiteman

Barbara Clarke Whiteman, 84, of Wintersville, Ohio, previously from Warwood, West Virginia, passed away on June 14, 2022.  She was born on November 23, 1937 in Toronto, Ohio, to the late David J. Clarke and Irma G. (Blewitt) Clarke. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Clarke.  

She is survived by her husband, William Whiteman; her children, Tim Whiteman of Wintersville, Ohio, Ed Whiteman of Wintersville, Ohio, and Trisha Whiteman of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and her grandsons, Jacob and Joshua Whiteman of Columbus, Ohio.  

Barbara was retired from National City Bank, previously Miners and Mechanic Bank as Assistant V.P./Branch Manager after 27 years. She was a member of Eastern Star #414 for 25 years, a member of New Somerset Church where she was a pianist, a member of Wintersville Woman’s Club Fun Seekers,  Warwood Alumni “Lunch Bunch.” She was an organist and choir director for Christian churches for many years.  

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, Ohio, on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 11 A.M. until time of services at 1 P.M. Pastor Rob Minto will be officiating.
