Carolyn Lucille Bonecutter, 76 of Bloomingdale, passed away on December 16, 2018 at home per her wishes.
She was lovingly cared for by her family and received many visitors during her illness.
Carolyn retired from the Shaffer Plaza after over 20 years of service caring for the many mentally challenged clients whom she devoted herself to over the years.
Carolyn was the eldest daughter of the late Herbert “Mutzie” and Myrtle Kontra. She leaves behind her husband of nearly 60 years, Paul E. Bonecutter as well as her children Marilyn (John) Truini, Carolyn (Bill) Turnbull, Janet (Mike) Pearson, Paul (Becky) Bonecutter and Theresa (Robert) Kocher. A daughter, Connie preceded her in death.
She had 14 grandchildren, Michelle, Shari, Jacob, Christopher (CJ), Ryan, Brad, Justin (Figs), Casey, Mercedes, Eric, Tyler, Leigha, Sierra and Olivia. Eleven great-grandchildren, Sierra, Aaron,Brendan, Hayden, Brogan, Mason, Gage, Blake, Brody, Ty and Kali. Two great-great-grandchildren, Harlee and Halena. Also left behind are her siblings, Janie, Ronnie, Sandy, Doris and their spouses. In addition Carolyn had several nieces and nephews who were dear to her as was her brother-in-law, Richard and his wife Dayna.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all those who visited with Carolyn and offered any help, prayers, or other kind deeds during this trying time. Special thanks to Reverend Jack Klinesmith who visited and prayed with her during her final days.
Private arrangements were entrusted to Everhart- Bove funeral home, Wintersville.
Per Carolyn's wishes there will be no services. She requested to be cremated and her ashes scattered among her rose bushes on the homestead she dearly loved. The family request that a random act of kindness be done in her memory.
