It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the sad news of the passing of loving husband, father, and son Christopher Aaron King (Kinger), 38 of Steubenville Ohio. Chris was born in Virginia Beach, VA on May 19, 1983. He was the son of the late Gregory King and Mary Spurrier Cassella (Leonard Cassella “Pappy”).
He is survived by the love of his life for 22 years, Megan Kuester King. They were high school sweethearts and soul mates. He and Megan have three children; Julianna King, Ryan King and Molly King. He is also survived by three brothers Greg, RP, and Josh. One sister in law Michael Ann Kuester and father in law Michael (Janet)Kuester.
His guardian angels, Pap Pap and Gma received him with loving, open arms. As well as his nephew Matthew Smith and life long friend Jeff Bensi.
Chris was our gentle giant who lived, worked, and played hard for and with his family. Chris has worked for Water Transport for 18+ years as a driver. Chris attended Ohio State ATI in Wooster. His love of animals kept him active with 4H and raising show hogs. Chris loved to not only watch his children show hogs. He also loved to watch them play sports. He once was an athlete himself. Chris could throw the cover off a ball standing on the pitcher's mound at bantam ridge baseball fields. As he got into his high school days you could find him in the wrestling room. He loved his Ohio state buckeyes and you knew he was in the room when he would yell “O-H”.
Friends will be received at the Everhart Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Sunday August 22 from 12-5 pm.
