Obituary

Dolores “Peaches” Leas, 94, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away on March 2, 2023. She was born on December 8, 1928, in Steubenville, Ohio, to the late Harry J. and Verna (Stills) Vankirk. In addition to her parents, Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, A. Dale Leas; her son, Gary D. Leas; her sisters, Dorothy Medley, Barbara Morris, and Hester McMillion; and her brothers, Fred and Lawrence Vankirk.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra (Richard) Richey; her grandchildren, Brad Leas and Missy Leas; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

Dolores was a life member of VFW Auxiliary Post #3333, past Matron Labelle O.E.S.Chapter 414, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #33, and a White Shrine of Wheeling, WV. 

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, Ohio, 43953, on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 5 P.M. until time of services at 6 P.M. with Pastor Mark Statler officiating.
