Edward H. Stine, 80, of Bergholz, Ohio, passed away in Lifeline Hospital, Wintersville, Wednesday, January 21, 2015.
He was born September 16, 1934 in Wolf Run, Ohio, a son of the late Frederick N. and Bessie A. (Lawson) Stine.
He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Ruby (McQuen) Stine in 1993; four brothers, John, William, Dean and Michael; and two sisters, Vivian Walulik and Ruth Stine.
Ed was a coal miner for Consol Coal Company having worked at the Jensie Mine and is a member of the UMWA.
He is survived by his wife, Anita J. (Linck) Stine; two step-daughters, Becky (Jeff) Rainsberger, Carrollton, and Melissa Bendle of Toronto; step-son, Richard (Joanie) Hissom of Lake Gogenic, MI; step-grandsons, Neil (Darlene) and Brian (Jennifer) Hissom; 5 step great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Ed will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 285 Second St., Bergholz, with Pastor David Miller officiating.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m.
Burial will be in Circle Green Cemetery.
