Edward G. “Bibo” Potenzini passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019, peacefully at his home in Mingo Junction, Ohio. Edward was born on April 10, 1937 to the late Joseph and Anna (Felo) Potenzini.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Edward T. “Eddie” Potenzini; brothers, Joseph Potenzini, Jr., Thomas Potenzini, Fred Potenzini, Robert Potenzini, Chester Potenzini, and sisters, Dorothy Potenzini, Eleanor Gump, and Marcella Potenzini.
Edward retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel from the electrical department as the 80” motor room operator. He served his country being a very proud US Marine from 1956-1959 post Korean War in Hawaii. He was a member of the St. Agnes Church, The Steubenville Post 33 American Legion and the Knight of Columbus in Mingo Junction, OH.
Surviving is a daughter, Faith (Bruce) Hall; brother, Frank (Joselle) Potenzini; sisters, Norma (Wayne) Pickford, and Mary Louise (Mike) Boka; grandchildren, Maria R. Ruckman and Renee C. Ruckman; two step granddaughters, Lauren Hall and Alison Hall. In addition to many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces whom he loved being around and spending time with.
Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 10 AM until 7 PM.
