Frances Sheets

Frances Ann Sheets 77, of Richmond, Ohio passed away June 2, 2021 at Trinity West, Steubenville. She was born August 24, 1943 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Stewart E. and Annie (Ross) Richardson. In addition to her parent’s she was preceded death by her husband, Robert Sheets; brother, Jim Richardson; son, Jeff Sheets.

She was an EMT for the Richmond Fire Dept and retired from Trinity WorkCare. Frances attended Bell Chapel Methodist and was a secretary for the Toronto Senior Center. She also belonged to Golden Guppies and Steel Valley Antique Car Club.

She loved time spent with her family and friends.  She was filled with kindness and wisdom.  Would tell you the truth whether you wanted to hear it or not.  Made the best lemonade and always had fresh coffee.

Frances is survived by her children, Jim (Vickie) Still, John (Shelly) Sheets, Melissia (Bryan) Sutton, Mark (Lindsey) Sheets and Cindy Cooney; brother, Robert (Patricia) Richardson, sister-in-law, Shirley Richardson; grandchildren, Jason (Krystal) Sheets, Cassandra (John) Sheets, Emily Sheets, Stacie Still, Jenna (Vince) Kuntz, John Sheets, Caitlyn (Ryan) Bane, Kristen (Shawn) Sheets, Sam Sheets, Matthew Sutton, Holly Sutton, and Patrick Cooney; 18 great-grandchildren and her faithful companion Zeus.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 110 West Main St., Richmond on Sunday from 3-7 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1 PM with Father John McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Union cemetery, Steubenville.
