Francis Cutri, Sr.

Francis “Fran” T. Cutri, Sr., 82, of Richmond, OH, passed away October 22, 2020 at his home. 

He was born April 30, 1938 in Mingo Jct., OH, a son of late Rocco Jacob and Laura Jessie (Townsend) Cutri. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Timothy Thomas Cutri; granddaughter, Jamie Marie Ghrist; nephew, James Shawn Lyke; and great nephew, Brayden Michael Gatts. 

Fran served his country in United States Army.  

He graduated from Steubenville Big Red, R.R.R., class of 1957. Fran graduated from Jeff Tech with an Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Fran worked for A&P while in High School. He retired from TIMET after 44 years and a crane inspector for Marina Industrial Inspectors.  

Fran was a Club Member: PNA, Knights of Columbus, Moose, American Legion Post 33, Schwabens, and Saint Anthony Catholic Church.  

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Gatts) Cutri; sons, Larry Thomas Cutri, Francis Thomas (Kimberly) Cutri, Jr., and Patrick (Wendy) Cutri; sister, Georgianna Dolly (Patsy) Minella; a brother by choice, James (Nancy) Nation; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 12 nieces; 11 nephews; 17 great nieces; 16 great nephews; 2 great great nieces; and 1 great great nephew.  

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM. 

Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville with full Military Honors.
