George Dean Shepherd

George Dean Shepherd, 55, of Bergholz, OH, passed away May 12, 2019 at the Nashville VA Hospital, TN.

He was born October 9, 1963 in East Liverpool, OH, a son of the late Dean Shepherd and Georgia (DeNoon).

George served his country, which he loved, in the United States Marines.

He was an active member of his community, the former Bergholz Church of Christ, and the current Bergholz United Methodist Church.

George is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Mary Shepherd; children, Jason (Kristy) Keffer, Tara (Ben) Givens, Chelsy (Randy) Byron, and Nathaniel (Anne) Shepherd; sister, Anna Marie (Russell) Kleiner; grandchildren, Rilee and Drake Givens, Lydia and Emmett Byron; and nephews, Dean (Helena) Wiley and Josh Kleiner.

Friends will be received on Friday from 3-8 PM at the Bergholz United Methodist Church, 266 Second St., Bergholz where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM with Pastor Lee Iden and Pastor Dave Miller officiating.

Burial will follow at Bergholz Cemetery with full Military Honors.
