Gerald L. Risnear, Jr., 61, of East Springfield, OH lost his battle with cancer on February 24, 2021 at Trinity West in Steubenville.

Gerald was born in Steubenville, OH, on October 15, 1959, to Gerald L. Risnear, Sr. and Oramarie Baker.

Gerald graduated from Wintersville High School in 1977 and attended Jefferson County Joint Vocational School where he studied graphic design. After graduation Gerald served in the United States Navy where he was honorably discharged.

Gerald was an avid guitar enthusiast. He practiced on his guitar daily. He enjoyed shopping for vintage stereos such as, Walkman cassette players and boom boxes. His love for music was impeccable.

Preceding Gerald in death was his beloved mother, Marie (Ksiazek) Baker whom passed away recently.

Gerald is survived by his parent Gerald L. Risnear, Sr. of East Springfield, OH, one brother Daniel (Renee) Risnear of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, one sister Catherine Risnear of Toronto, OH, step-father Jerry Ksiazek of Wintersville, OH, step-brother Scott Ksiazek of Navarre, Florida, step-sister Vicki Ksiazek Smith of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, one niece Chayna Engel and two nephews, Garrett Smith and Caleb Ksiazek.
