James W. Joynson, 67, of Toronto, OH, passed away at his home on March 14, 2021.
He was born September 6, 1953 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Arthur and Corma (Fisher) Joynson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Kay Dawn Hudak.
Jim enjoyed riding motorcycles. He was a member of the NRA. Jim had a passion for restoring cars. He loved animals and western movies. Jim worked at Ohio Edison for 35 years.
Jim is survived by his wife, Christy (Smith) Joynson; children, JC (Denise) Joynson and Alicia Joynson (Jeremy) Troski; siblings, John (Jackie) Joynson, Rita Dye, Sandy (Bill) Briggs, Sarah Moran, Karen Joynson (James DiVittorio), Corma (Dana) Saltsman, and Evan Joynson; grandchildren, Colt, Ashton, Jaeda, and Jake; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved animals, Ava, Sarge, and Toby.
Friends will be received at the Beacon of Light Church, 8247 Amsterdam Rd SE, Amsterdam, OH on Wednesday from 4 PM until time of the funeral services at 6 PM with Pastor Michael Thurston officiating.
