James "Jimbo" Smith Jr . Obituary

James “Jimbo” Smith, Jr. 63 of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Trinity West. He was born December 29, 1957 in Columbus, GA, a son of Ella “Boots” (Flowers) Smith and the late James H. Smith, Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Gary Smith. Jimbo had battled illness since 2013 and battled hard, never giving up until the end

Jimbo held various jobs during his life including driver for Biggio Ford, parts manager for McKitrick Harms, Autozone, and others. He had a passion for fishing and hunting.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Roberta (Mushrush) Smith, daughter, Mary (Nathan Lease); granddaughter, Amylee; sister, Dawn Powell and companion, John LaRue; brother, Chris (Dee) Smith; brothers-in-law, Kenny Mushrush and Paul Kish; sisters-in-law, Debbie (Joe) Martin and Angel (David) Goldberg; special friend, Karen Amos; several nieces and nephews including special nephew, Charles (Michelle) Ortiz.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Saturday from 1 pm until time of services at 4 PM.
