Joan Davis

Joan L. Davis, 87, of Concord Twp., OH, passed away December 2, 2020 at Concord Village Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

She was born November 15, 1933 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of late Henry E. and Elizabeth (Flaherty) Morrison.  

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick I. Davis and sisters, Peggy Moran Oaks and Betty Riley. Joan was a 1952 graduate of Steubenville Big Red High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for various local car dealerships in the area before and after raising her family. She enjoyed decorating her home, making floral arrangements and volunteering with several organizations. She was a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church.

 Her greatest love was her family. 

She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Frank) Suponcic; precious granddaughter, Lexi Suponcic; and sister, Shirley Hair; various nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Hospice of the Western Reserve. The family would like to thank the staff at Concord Village Skilled Nursing and Rehab for the exceptional care and love they provided to Joan over the past several years.    

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Friday from 12 noon until time of services at 2 PM with Pastor Greg Bush officiating. Burial at New Alexandria cemetery.
