Martha E. (Walter) Rusnak

Martha E. Rusnak, 92, Wintersville, Ohio died Monday, MAY 30, 2022 at Carriage Inn. She was born in Uniontown, Belmont County, Ohio on FEB 22, 1930 to the late Emmett and Alice (Perkins) Walter. Martha attended Wintersville Church of Christ. Martha was a dedicated wife, homemaker, and loving mother for her six children. Greeting her on the other side are her husband Pete Sr., son Pete Jr., sister Virginia Miller, and brother James Walter.

Martha is survived by children Bruce (Barbara) Rusnak of North Canton, OH; Rodney (Debra) Rusnak of Centerville, Ohio; Gene (Cathy) Rusnak of Spokane, WA; Janice (Wally Jr.) Jancura of Dillonvale, OH; Richard (Lisa) Rusnak of Dayton, OH; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren (with another due soon).

Martha and Pete were skating partners at the rink in Tiltonsville for a couple of years before their wedding on May 16, 1953. Martha supported all of her children by being a den mother, band booster, track mom, and by her continual devotion for Pete Jr. Martha will be remembered for her beautiful crochet, knitted works, and patchwork quilts.

Funeral services will be held at Everhart-Bove Funeral Homes, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, OH, on Saturday, June 4, 2022.

Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m.  Ron Vandeborne will give the message at noon. Committal service will follow at the Chapel of Fort Steuben Burial Estates.  Wintersville Church of Christ will host a luncheon afterwards.
