Patty Davis

Patty (McGrew) Davis, 79, of Steubenville, OH, was surrounded by her family as she passed peacefully at home February 26, 2020.

She was born in 1940 in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of the late John and Hazel (Haynes) McGrew.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul Frederick McGrew and John Robert McGrew.

She graduated from Steubenville High School in 1959 and was later employed by the Miners and Mechanics and National City banks in Steubenville.

Patty is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ronald Davis. Also surviving are her daughter Cheryl (Forest) Lane of Mingo Junction, OH and son George Neurohr of New Alexandria, OH, sister Elizabeth (Buzzy) Guinn of Granbury, TX, brother William (Sandie) McGrew of Charleston, SC, grandchildren Kara Smith, Dillon (Christina) Smith, Amber Lane, Kylie Lane and five great grandchildren.

She was a member of Grace Point Ministries, Prime Time Senior Center and enjoyed baking and delivering cookies to hospice.

Patty was a devoted wife and helpmate to Ron and a loving mother and Nana. She was always willing to lead a hand while choosing to remain behind the scences.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM with William McGrew officiating.

Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Steubenville.
