Victor Cline 85 of Steubenville passed away May 8, 2020 at his home in peace and comfort in the company of his family. He was known as “Pap Victor” to everyone he met. He had a powerful faith in God’s grace through Jesus. He enjoyed porch sitting and visiting, watching sports, holding babies, and listening to music. He had a passion for hunting squirrel and raccoon. He always had a dog by his side.
He was born October 16, 1934 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Clayton and Mildred (Miller) Cline.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Cline who passed on April 7, 2020; grandson, Stephen Barcalow; brothers, Ralph, Bob, Dick, Edward, Dale, and Charles Cline; sisters Patty Kellermier, Polly Wayt, and infant sister Saundra.
Victor attended Bell Chapel Methodist Church and was retired from Columbia Gas.
Victor is survived by his children, Debbie (Wayne) Barcalow, Jerry Cline, and Vickie (Jim) Still; brother, Doyle (Peg) Cline; grandchildren, Shaun Barcalow, Jared (Hallie) Barcalow, Heather Cline Apesos, Jessica Cline, Amy (Chris) Barcus, Logan Cline, Emily Cline, Stacie Still, and Jenna (Vince) Kuntz; and 15 great-grandchildren; several sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
