Walter "Wally" Monigold

Walter “Wally” Monigold 65 of Amsterdam, Ohio passed away September 25, 2021. He was born December 15, 1955 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Walter and Rosemond (Voght) Monigold.

 Remembering so many wonderful memories of who you truly are and were, your love for family and friends. I loved seeing your eyes light up as you looked at the one and only love of your life, your soulmate, Teresa who loved you with every part of her heart. I believe yuns were meant to be together from the day your eyes met. You gave so much of your heart by doing and giving to many and let yourself go without at times when they didn’t have a clue. You would hear about someone not being able to get some things and you would make it happen for them. You made it happen for someone to stay at his home because he didn’t want to leave it.  The love you had for the outdoors, hunting fishing, camping, turtle jugging and taking his loyal dog cash for rides on the four-wheeler. The stories that you would share. You loved taking your boat and just enjoyed being on the water. We loved our get togethers and having you tell your stories and just seeing your smile. There will never be another Wally, you left so many memories for us all to keep and knowing you touched so many of our lives we love you forever.

We lost a very special person who touched many lives and was loved by many. Please have a beer and celebrate Wally’s life.
