Wayne Jude Gasparro

Wayne Jude Gasparro, 58, of Steubenville, passed away on October 24, 2021 at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio.

Wayne was born on March 26,1963 in Amityville, New York. He was the son of Lorraine Rose Veronica Gasparro and the late Nicholas Anthony Gasparro.

He proudly served in the Air Force & West Virginia Army National Guard for a combined total of 14 1/2 years. He deployed 2009-2010 during OIF in Iraq with the 115th Eng Co out of Clarksburg, WV. After his years in the military, he worked many years in security and custodial work. He was a very well loved person and had a kind heart, and would do anything to help anyone. He would give anyone the shirt off his back. He was the true definition of the saying, “give the shirt off my back”.

Wayne is survived by his four children; Christina (Marvin) Wietrzykowski, Giovanni Gasparro, Sarah Gasparro, Veronica Gasparro; and Jodie Gasparro (former spouse).

Wayne is also survived by his brother, Paul (Mary) Gasparro, sisters; Denise (John) Crowell, Patricia (Richard) Pagan, Judith (Patrick) Roche, Valerie (Kirk) Morphew, Jude Gasparro - Brewer; grandchildren; Preston, Autumn, and Ezreal Wietrzykowski, Leo, Blair and Piper Gasparro, Sebastian and Stella Mclaughlin, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville on Friday from 11AM until time of services at 1 PM with Pastor Jeff Greco officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
