William Joseph Marietti

William Joseph Marietti, 63, of Bloomingdale, Ohio, passed away on June 12, 2022. He was born on November 25, 1958 in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Dominic Marietti and Norma Jean (Miller) Marietti. In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his brother, James Marietti; his sister, Linda Marietti; his brother-in-laws, Dan Runt and Larry Runt; and his grandson, Landon Skukan. 

William graduated from Wintersville High School in 1978. He worked as an electrician at TS Electric for many years. He was a member of the IBEW 246 in Steubenville, Ohio. William was also a firefighter at the Bloomingdale Fire Department. He loved to help people, go fishing, and deer hunting. 

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Susan (Runt) Marietti; his daughters, Stephanie (Richard Jr.) Bentley and Melissa Marietti; his sisters, Sharon (Jerry) Mathieu and Lisa (Kevin) Burch; his grandchildren, Jadon Bentley, Nathan Schupp Jr., and McKenna Bentley; his niece, Amy (Doug) McGill; and his nephews, Brian Mathieu, Chad (Brandy) Runt, Corey (Kassie) Runt, Charles Runt, and Craig (Kelly) Runt. 

Friends will be received at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Rd., Wintersville, Ohio, for visitation on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 5-8 P.M. There will be a service at 1 P.M. with Rev. Dan Crowe officiating on Thursday, June 16, 2022.
